16 Qualities to strive towards
Wisdom
On the path of inner unfoldment there are sixteen qualities/virtues to acquire:
- Patience – A victory is the conquest of one self through patience.
- Kindness – Treat everyone kindly and courteously and always be ready to help.
- Generosity – Spend your benevolence and good will with impartiality.
- Humility – Give credit to others and everything will be accomplish in due time.
- Industriousness – Do what is needed but let modesty be in proportion to your gifts and talents.
- Temperance – Act in harmony with cosmic law.
- Balance – Seeks the delicate balance between your own needs and the needs of others.
- Calmness – Don’t let disturbances disturb your mind.
- Discernment – Until your judgement is cut off, remain inclined towards a favorable opinion.
- Righteousness – Let nobility of character lifts you high above absurdities.
- Honesty – Never seek any other source of light except the light of truth.
- Silent – Keep your wisdom locked in your heart for in Silence lies true power.
- Knowledgeable – Maintain an unshakeable confidence in the Divine principle of truth.
- Conviction – In everything, no matter of what evil appearance, there is within a good seed that can overcome evil.
- Consistency – Hold fast to your spiritual possessions.
- Loyalty – Truth remains unaltered so remain loyal to truth.

You forgot one… “love “. Without this primordial quality nothing else is possible.
To remain loyal to truth using such wonderful qualities is indeed worthy for one to strive for and maintain all throughout life; thank you for sharing that gem of a list with us.

It is too easy to sell out or compromise a principle that you are unsure of. In a way sometimes we test the boundaries and find ourselves crossing the line that makes our integrity less valuable.
How can we hold wisdom if we let wisdom slide out from our hands? Yes we need conviction with our faith because without holding dear to our principles everything is shifting sand.
Good guideposts for the journey.
