A boy's art
A boy's art
Parenting
I have uploaded my own feeble artwork since the inception of my Xanga blog. I started off with very simplistic sketches and to a degree even my current art is that of an obvious layman. My daughter continued to take art at school. Today she browsed through my Xanga to explore all the pictures I placed on Xanga of her art going back seven years ago. She could see how much she has grown in terms of her art. It showed some of the value of a blog like Xanga when your family can look back and see how your life evolved. My daughter could also see how her mind was already starting to see some unusual insights as a young child. She showed from an early age signs of being sagacious.
My son also took art at school this year and in keeping with the tradition of putting their art on Xanga here is some sketches he recently sketched. Both are of course inspired by the film "The hobbit". His style is significantly different from my daughter's style but these characters certainly looks animated. Their countenance speaks volumes. For sure an augury that fills one with an expectation.

His sketches are pretty good.
I love the eyes.
well done
He's got talent!!!
You've got talented kids. Are you still drawing a picture a day?
It is good to encourage drawing. Some artist sketch out in pencil first and then ink it. Who knows if they also have a great sense of color, that skill takes practice too.
Good stuff ^__^
