    #2012 – #Creativity

    Personal reflection

Truly it is within my reach this year to transform the mundane into gold this year. Yes, the foundation has been laid last year to be creative and to bring a new vision of how legislation is passed and how oversight is ensured over government. I can not change the whole system but I can put into place a small gear in the bigger gearbox of how things operate. This is truly my mission for 2012 to influence the democratic processes in South Africa to function better and with more transparency. Here I dream big, here I set the vision, here I nurture a future for generations to come. Oh, yes, there will be no quick change…there will be no sudden solution but now is the time to crank up the momentum for a new era of accountability to the citizens of the country.

My Vision is to be a leader in Information management to support democratic governance.

My mission is to establish accountability when passing legislation and enable oversight over democratic processes.

    My objective:

    • Establish a business intelligence system for monitoring democratic processes
    • Establish a framework of accountability for performance, compliance and effective application of legislation.

  • Transparency…I like that.  Best of luck with your mission.

  • @C_L_O_G - Thank you…if possible my progress (or lack thereof will find its way to Xanga)

  • @Zeal4living - I’d be interested in how this works out.  Until a couple of years ago I taught a political science class each semester and I find your goal intriguing.

  • @C_L_O_G - I would keep you up to date even if it by private e-mail. Political science is an interesting topic. I wish I had that background…it would have helped me a lot in my current objective.
