Allowing opportunity to enter
Allowing opportunity to enter
#Contemplation
“When you open the door of #possibility, then #opportunity will enter”
This was the idea that popped into my head this morning while I was contemplating my model of the enneagram. We have to take action by becoming aware of all the possibilities. Often to allow for new possibilities we have to let go of the things that provide us with a sense of comfort. We say people have to step out of their comfort zone. However not everybody does it and often they do not know how to do it or do it wrongly. Although it takes courage to step out of your comfort zone it does not always change your life. When you step out of your comfort zone you must have intent and awareness. Intent of why you step into the domain of the uncertain and awareness to be able to identify new opportunities.
If you step outside your comfort zone just for the sake of it, you might find yourself just in an uncomfortable position which might even be to your detriment. I do encourage you to look at what is outside your comfort zone and I do encourage you that you step outside of that comfort zone. However look at where you are going before doing so…you do not have to perform a blind leap of faith and hope somebody will catch you. When you do have the courage then be vigilantly aware of synchronicities and incidences that leads you to your purpose. When you adopt this approach you will find yourself on a new exiting adventure of discovering your true self. For when you open the door of possibility, you can be certain that opportunity will enter.

Opportunity presents itself in our lives many times. Fear is our enemy, so we close the door of opportunity towards that change. Though many complain, many accept the status quo. Because its what they know and are not willing to take on the challange of change.
@The_Eyes_Of_A_Painter – a challenge to change can fill us with fear especially if seen in tthe contex of uncertainty but as an adventurre if one is prepared and disciplined.
I like the idea of looking before leaping….and that is what I try to do. It is easy to get stuck in the looking stage and never leap. Planning for every contingency is one of fears best tricks.
in many of my greatest moments in my life, they happened from me stepping out of my comfort zone. a majority of these times, i was personally led by someone else into something else that i was not yet aware existed to that point. they led me out of my comfort zone into a new zone that i became comfortable with.
i have also on many occasions blindly leapt out of my comfort zone which half the time went smoothly, and half the time became a disaster.
Yes, well said. And something I need to learn to do better!
never wait for opportunity to knock… open the door and let opportunity find its way in
