Notes of a runemaster
Notes of a runemaster
Contemplative insights
The true master has conquered life to the degree that death is no longer feared.
The purpose of the practice of a #futhark of runes is to develop as a whole human being, complete within oneself. The runes #balance inner mind and outer expression. The rune master is whole and fully independent of external conditions. The strenght of the rune master is within him/herself by integrating system of thought that integrates all aspects of life into the inner world. Yet it is not an isolating practise it is a purposeful wholeness that allows the rune master to be counted as a force of transformation in the world. The rune master is an expression of wholeness into the world. Not being influenced by external factors yet always influencing to create #wholeness and healing in the community arround him. Man is either cancerous or salubrious in his community – a force that destroy or a force that edifies. The runemaster cultivates wholeness as a force of benignity. Wholeness is like a ripple that expands outward with an ever healing radiance. An influence that never dominates but ever inspire free will towards higher potential.

It is interesting to see this ethic written from another perspective. I knew there must be a western equivalent to the samurai code.
Thanks for defining this. It helps to refocus on things…something to strive for whether or not I’m a rune master!
There is something mystic about symbols and word.
I suppose short hand would enable me to organize and compose my thoughts better.
I beg to differ, we influence each other if we let/allow it.
@FrenzElectric - There are Nordic/Gemanic writings which translated to the codes of chivalry of the knights but I unfortunately do not have access to them. I think looking at the different orders of knights will give a comparative code.
@songoftheheart - Very true. I think the message the Nordic people tried to convey was ways of getting to grip with universal human challenges. The principles are transferable.
@PPhilip - I agree with you on the point with which you beg to differ from me.
@Zeal4living - Hi Jurgens,
If you haven’t already downloaded it, here’s an interesting comment on the Nordic Orders of Chivalry:http://www.orderofcyprus.org/upload/File/THE%20ORDERS%20OF%20KNIGHTHOOD.pdf
