Tai Chi
We started training at Parliament 5 months ago under the tutorship of Shifu M.J. Li. On Monday we did an informal certification and today the certificates were handed to all the members of the Parliament Tai Chi club. During the grading every student was asked what Tai Chi meant for them and what lesson they have learned. For me since taking Tai Chi a year ago, is that When you inculcate control, harmony and coordination in your body it starts to pervade your live in every sphere. The one thing I will remember from M.J. Li is his saying that everything is a training opportunity. Again this does not apply to Tai Chi but it applies to everything we do in life. Besides China it seems that South Africa is the only Parliament that supports Tai Chi as part of its wellness program. I got an 8+ grading.

There is a lot more to Tai Chi than I realized. Congrats on the good grade.
I really want to take up Tai Chi, Qigong, and Aikido. But for one reason, or another, usually time, funds, or lack of opportunity; things just don't line up for me. I will take them up though, the first time all three are in alignment.
